WAR this Friday (11/09/09)
After such a long wait, WAR is finally here. It stands for Worship and Recreation and that's precisely what we're gonna do this Friday. The theme for this WAR is BvG and what it stands for is going to be a secret until you come this Friday. But, all I can say is it's gonna be a great time of praise & worship and we will have loads of fun playing games and joking around. See you there!! God bless!!

Based out of Southern California, this East India native has been travelling the world, bringing the grand piano to life with his unique style of inspirational instrumental music in churches and concert halls from Europe to Asia and the United States. Over 2 million people have attended a live ” Enoch” concert. The son of a famous evangelist, Enoch travels 300,000 miles yearly, and has performed in over 4000 concerts worldwide. He has been considered for 2 Grammy nominations. His piano has no language barriers….accompanied with rich orchestrations and multimedia video, his breathtaking arrangements and inspiring testimony have touched the hearts of countless audiences.

Missions Emphasis Week

Speaker: Rev Asa Kain
Rev Asa Michael Kain is the senior pastor of Dhaka Assembly of God Church. This church was founded by Calvin Olson, who was from Willmar Assembly of God Church in Minnesota.
Rev Kain has been pastoring Dhaka Assembly of God Church since 1981. The church has 12 outreaches around the city. It has sent out 40 missionaries to plant churches throughout the nation. One missionary is overseas and two couples are going to neighbouring countries this September.
Rev Kain served for 20 years as general superintendent (chairman) of the Assemblies of God in Bangladesh. He stepped down from this position in January. In this movement, he has seen one church planted every three weeks.
Rev Kain is also vice-chairman of the World Mission Commission of the World Pentecostal Fellowship. He has been part of several boards of NGOs and missions. He has travelled to 40 countries, teaching and preaching. He has also spoken in mission and pastoral conferences.
He has written a book “Ministry and Planting Churches in Restricted Context” and authored numerous articles on contemporary and theological issues in different periodicals.
Rev Kain is married to Gwen Janice and they have two children, Milena and Matthew. Milena is married to Jon Holmen and resides in Burnsville MN.
